Anthony Davis doesn’t want anyone to profit from using his likeness to sell merchandise.  He’s trademarked a pair of eyebrow-based slogans, “Fear the Brow” and “Raise the Brow.”   This move also suggests that there will be merchandising coming from his anticipated career in the NBA.

‘I don’t want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it,’ Davis said. ‘Me and my family decided to trademark it because it’s very unique.’

This will be all for nothing if  he bombs out as a rookie NBA player.  However, I still think it was a good forward thinking move.    Davis’s only current endorsement is a draft-night deal with Sprint’s NBA Android app.
