A 10-year-old Indianapolis boy was served Rum last week while dining with his parents at the Olive Garden.  According to the police report, a waitress sat the drink down in front of the boy who immediately drank half of it.  When the waitress realized what happened she told her manager who then told the parents.    After a check up at the hospital, the boy is fine.

This is not the first time that the Olive Garden has served alcohol to kids.

Two incidents involving younger children being served alcohol at restaurants made headlines last year. In Madison Heights, Mich., outside Detroit, a 15-month-old toddler was mistakenly given a small amount of alcohol instead of apple juice in April. A month later, an Olive Garden in central Florida was accused of accidentally serving a 2-year-old boy sangria instead of orange juice.

The waitress in this incident has been fired.
